Joint
Statement by Gandhian Anna Hazare and Prakash Shah ji shows a new direction to
India
Who is
unknown about Gandhian Anna Hazare? He has dedicated his entire life to realize
the dreams of corruption free India. Following the path shown by Gandhiji, the
mass movement that he launched in 1911 A.D. for the Lokpal bill awakened a ray
of hope in the hearts of Indian People. The non-violent protest had shaken the
roots of many in the State, steeped in rampant corruption. Annaji proved that
Gandhian ideas are still prevalent in present times. It’s another matter that
by making the movement a steppingstone, many power hungry have reached to the
pinnacle of power today. But Annaji still adheres to Gandhiji’s path and
strives to free India from corruption and make it an economically unencumbered
state. Prakash Shah who lives in America, meets Annaji, whenever he comes
to India.
Many
Indians may not be familiar with the name of Prakash Shah. He has been living
in America for many decades, but his soul resides in India only. His father Mr
K. K. Shah was a staunch Gandhian and a man of principles and a public servant.
Mr K. K. Shah who grew up in an ordinary family, had held respectable positions
like Cabinet Minister of India. He had also enhanced the prestige of a
dignified post like Governor of Tamilnadu. He served the mother India unto his
last breath with complete devotion. Following the footsteps of his father,
Prakash Shah is engaged in the service of India with all his heart and soul.
Despite holding high position in America, he leads a very simple life. He comes
to India and engages himself in the service of the poor and destitute. He also
wants India to be the world leader and wishes the country must become
economically and corruption free. No Indian should be poor.
Annaji and
Prakashji, sons of the nation and who have imbibed Gandhian thoughts have
issued a joint statement for economic independence through ‘Change India
Movement’. Their joint statement compels all country men to contemplate.
Their joint statement is as follows:
“Anna Hazare and Prakash Shah wish that ‘Change
India Movement’ in India should be run by common man to bring economic freedom
in the country.”
Who is
responsible to the corruption and pollution in the country? Gandhiji has delivered
freedom to India by taking the common man with him. It was the common man’s
sacrifices, and the credit goes to the common man for liberation of India from
the clutches of the British Empire through the weapon of non-violence.

Anna Hazare
and Prakash Shah want that the common man to start the ‘Change India Movement’ to
achieve economic freedom.
Annaji has
grown old now and Prakash Shah lives in America. Both want that before their
demise, the people of India should sacrifice for the ‘Change India Movement’
and start the movement for themselves.
What is the
opinion of a common man?"
Anna Hazare and Prakash Shah’s plea ends here. As an
Indian common man, please send your opinion to the below given email:
