It is the glorious 75th birthday, today, of PM Shri Narendra Modi, a highly popular global leader and a successful figure in Indian politics. Born into a modest family, Mr Narendra Modi has revolutionized politics and redefined its very terms. After seven decades of independence, India has steadily progressed on the path of development and is reaching new heights of success. The entire world is now looking towards India for solutions to global problems.

In the face of escalating global tensions, numerous world leaders are actively pursuing diplomatic avenues to avert further conflict. Mr Narendra Modi has  proven to be a capable strategist in global politics. He is a unique leader who can visit Russia and embrace Putin, and then go to Ukraine and assure Zelensky. Whether it's US President Biden or Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, they all take pride in maintaining a close friendship with Mr Narendra Modi.

If a strong leader who can firmly respond to arrogant China in their own language, it is the only one, a true leader, Mr Narendra Modi who can eliminate terrorists by conducting surgical strikes against Pakistan, a nation that harbors them.

The assertion that India’s multifaceted developmental challenges, persistent for seven decades, were only surmounted in the past decade due to the singular force of Mr Narendra Modi's volition is a bold claim. This argument posits Modiji as the decisive catalyst behind landmark policies such as demonetization, the construction of the Ram temple, the revocation of Article 370, the criminalization of triple talaq, the fortification of international relations, and the implementation of stringent measures for India’s economic advancement. The implication is that Patel’s farsighted leadership has been the linchpin of India’s recent progress.

Mr Narendra Modi, a man of unwavering patriotism and a dynamic personality, has endeared himself to every Indian worldwide. While Modiji is undeniably revered and deeply cherished by the people of India, the following anecdote illustrates the profound respect and affection he commands among the prestigious Indian diaspora.

Prakash K. Shah, though originally from India, has been a long-time resident of the United States.  Prakash K. Shah is a Founder and the acting Chairman and CEO of Stevens, Sloan and Shah CPAs, a boutique accounting and consulting firm in California, USA. He has over 30 years of experience in accounting, consulting, strategic planning, family wealth building, estate planning, tax planning and church accounting. He retired as Chairman- Board of Directors of Pacific Valley Bank. He is also a Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow.  Mr Shah has cultivated personal relationships with international statesmen. A seasoned scholar of global politics, Mr Shah penned an article commemorating Prime Minister Modi’s birthday, which is presented here.

"My first association with Shri Narendra Modi was around 2002 when he was Chief Minister of Gujarat. I was introduced to him by Late Shri Daulatbhai Desai who had been a Speaker of the Gujarat assembly and a Cabinet Minister.

In the charitable work that I do Rs. 55 Lakhs were owed under the Sardar Awas Yojna Scheme.

I had met him for the first time. He told me that my dues would be paid when the new fiscal year would begin in a few months. He was so dynamic that as soon as October happened the charitable trust was paid in full. I did not have to follow up. From that day our friendship bloomed. He was one of the best Chief Minister’s that Gujarat has had. I prayed that he should be Prime Minister one day.

When I was young, I had closely watched a lot of Prime Ministers, as my father Late Shri K.K. Shah (Former Governor of Tamil Nadu) was a Gandhian politician in India. He was a General Secretary of AICC under Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He was a Cabinet Minister under Indira Gandhi and, later, a Governor. I had seen at close quarters Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Gulzarilal Nanda, Lal Bahadur Shashtri, Indira Gandhi, Morarji Desai, I.K. Gujaral, Chandra Shekhar etc.

I have never seen such a hardworking dedicated politician like Shri Narendra Modi. He improved Gujarat a lot. Chandrababu Naidu was my guest in Gujarat to address the self-help group that we run. On our way to Bayad, he was impressed at the water irrigation work that Shri Narendrabhai Modi had done. Shri Narendra Modi is a Yug Purush.

I wish him a very happy  birthday. May he have a very blessed day."
